okay so i have this dumb modern day au where bertholdt is a florist in the rougher parts of town b/c the rent was cheaper and one day there is a brawl out in the alley behind his store/house and he finds annie all beat up and unconscious and rings his best buddy turned cop reiner to ask what to do and he says stay with her and call an ambulance and so bertie does and he brings her out a blanket and sits with her until the ambulance arrives and then he goes to hospital w/ her and she wakes up and is like who the fuck are you???and hes like o- oh thank goodness you are okay!! im bertholdt i found you unconcious, and shes like oh and he asks why there was a brawl and she doesnt respond and then hes asks where are your parents and she shouts im 23 and hes says oh sorry!!!! do you have any one to contact and she says no and he asks does she have anywhere to stay and she gets all quiet and hes all jittery and he says well you can stay with me?? and after a while she says fine and she moves in and they fall in love and he saves her the prettiest flowers from his store each day
